Disk wheel

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the strength of spokes while making the most of lightness of a light alloy material by forming at least the spokes of a disk with composite materials consisting of said light alloy material and fibers while are compositely integrated. CONSTITUTION:A disk wheel has a rim 1 in which a tire is fitted and a disk 2 on the inside of the rim, and the disk 2 has a hub mounting part 3 and spokes 4. And, at least spokes 4 of the disk 2 are formed by composite materials 5 in which a light alloy material is compositely integrated with fibers, which consists of a long fibers such a high strength carbon fibers, etc., and others. Said fibers are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the spokes 4, i.e., in the direction connecting a hub mounting part 3 to a rim 1. Thereby the strength of spokes 4 is improved while making the most of lightness of the light alloy material.
