Air suspension device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable bestowal of rolling rigidity according to a vehicle state, by so constituting that a valve to be closed according to the vehicle state is provided on a connecting tube, in a titled air suspension device for a large vehicle whose right and left air springs are connected by the connecting tube with each other. CONSTITUTION:As air springs 12, 13, 22 and 23 are connected with each other through an air tank 17 and leveling valves 16, 20 and 21 respectively, a car height is kept at a constant level by opening and closing the valves 16, 20 and 21 according to a weight of a vehicle body. Although a solenoid valve 15 provided on a connecting tube 14 for front air springs 12 and 13 is kept opened usually, through which the right and left air springs 12 and 13 are connected with each other, the valves are opened by a control signal corresponding to a load to be applied by a controller 26 which receives a steering angle 28, a vehicle speed 29 and lateral acceleration 30, a connection is interrupted and rolling rigidity is bestowed to right and left air springs 12 and 13. The rolling rigidity is bestowed according to necessity and operatability is improved in this manner.
