Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation for attaching and detaching a process unit to and from a device body by providing a means for positioning the process unit placed on a support to the device body cooperatively with the displacement of the unit in the stage of mounting said unit. CONSTITUTION:Positioning pins 55a, 55b spaced from each other in the pivotal direction of the drum are provided to the front frame body 17a of a frame body 17 of a unit U so as to project above said frame body. A positioning pin which prevents the rotation of the unit U and positions the unit is further provided to the rear frame body 17 as well in the pivotal direction of the drum. An inner side plate and a front side plate are perpendicularly provided in the prescribed mounting position of the unit U on the body C side. Openings 65a, 65b into which the pins 55a, 55b fit respectively are provided on said side plates. The opening 65a is horizontally long to permit an error for the reference position where the pin 55b fits into the opening 65b in the stage of positioning the unit U.
