Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform uniform development with sufficient density and to return a developer when development is performed without moving a device, by providing a development part with a specifying plate which forms a delta-shaped developer bank so that it contacts and leaves the development part. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator lever 21 is turned around a rocking shaft 22 by a spring 23 and an electromagnetic device 25 and when it is stopped by a stop pin 24, the delta-shaped developer bank R is formed by the developer specifying plate E, a photoreceptor A, and a sleeve B. At this time, when the lever stops almost at the front end of the plate E, the developer bank R does not become larger any more. The bank part R is stable against the variation in interval (d) between the photoreceptor A and the sleeve B, variation in the rotating speed of a magnetic roll M, speed variation of the photoreceptor A, toner density variation of a developer D, etc. Therefore, a development area B has stable constant width and the developer D at the part R is stirred by the roll M. When the plate E abuts on the device 25, the bank R disappears speedily.
