Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To solve the shortage of the capacity for floor heating and at the same time reduce the asymmetry of radiation in a space to be heating by a structure wherein a floor heating device and a ceiling radiation heating device, which performs heat radiation in response to the amount of heat radiation radiated by the floor heating device, are provided. CONSTITUTION:An electric carpet 1 is installed on the floor and at the same time a panel heater 2 is arranged in the ceiling. In addition, a radiation sensor 3 to detect the amount of heat radiation emitted from the electric carpet 1 and a surface temperature sensor 5 to detect the tempeature of panel surface of the panel heater 2 are provided and at the same time a controller 4 to control the heat quantity supplied to the panel heater 2 based upon the amount of thermal radiation detected by the sensor 3. In the structure as mentioned above, when the amount of heat radiation emitted from the electric carpet 1 is larger than that emitted from the panel heater 2, a heat amount comparator 7 outputs an ON signal to a panel heater power circuit 8, while when smaller, outputs an OFF signal. Consequently, both of said amount of heat radiation are equalized.
