Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a titled filtering body from clogging, and to improve the removing rate, by laminating plural filtering units, formed by arranging oppositely porous anode and cathode plates and disposing a porous dielectric between the plates through an oil-permeable spacer. CONSTITUTION:When an electric power is supplied from a high-voltage electric- power generating device 5 after attaching a filter 3 to an adapter and flowing an oil in the directions of the white and black arrows, a cylindrical member 2 is impressed into negative, and the oil is flowed through a filtering body 1 in the direction of the real arrow line and also a high voltage electric field is formed between plate electrodes 14a, 14b. As most fine particles of carbon incorporated in the oil are charged into negative, only the fine carbon particles are attracted to the anode plate 14a as shown by the dotted arrow lines and are captured by a charged dielectric plate 13 on the way to lose their negative charges, thereby the particles are stuck to the plate 13 to be held by its without being carried away by the oil. At a part where a large amount of carbon particles deposit, the oil flows into adjoining spacers, then an increase of the flow resistance of oil is prevented as a whole.
