Shading correcting system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain the suitable correction corresponding to the deterioration with time of a fluorescent lamp and the like, by storing a new response signal to a storage section every time a circuit for correction is operative. CONSTITUTION:A signal corresponding to each cell transmitted from a photoelectric converting element 1 is A/D converted at an A/D converter 3, compared with a signal corresponding to the storage section 5 at a comparison section 4 and a larger signal of them is outputted. The signal of maximum value as to the subscanning direction is stored in the storage section 5 based on the result of comparison from the comparison section 4. The output of the A/D converter 3 is corrected with a correction memory 8 and a multiplier 7 based on the signal of maximum value at each cell stored in the storage section 5.
