Transmitting electric power controller
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent an unnecessary drop of a transmitting output level, without damaging a protecting function of a transmitter, by controlling a reflected wave detecting level in accordance with a current value supplied to a power amplifier. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is amplified by a driving amplifier 1, its output is amplified by a power amplifier 2, and its output is radiated from an antenna 5 through an LPF4. A traveling wave of an output side of this amplifier 2 is detected by a CM coupler 3, is converted to a DC level proportional to its detecting level by a detector I 6, and a current controller I 12 is controlled by its voltage. Also, when it is detected by the coupler 3 that a reflected wave is generated in the output side of the amplifier 2, the detecting level proportional to its reflected wave is converted to DC voltage by a detector II7 and is inputted to a multiplier 11. By this multiplier 11, it is multiplied by an output of a current detector 10 proportional to a current supplied to the amplifier 2, and its output is supplied to a current controller II13. In this way, an unnecessary drop of a transmitting level is prevented by controlling an output of the amplifier 1.
