Erasing method of image

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable the easy erasing of a toner image without any ground stain by bringing a solvent into contact with a toner image formed on the paper which is sealed with a material hardly soluble in solvent and rubbing off the image while the paper is kept wet with the solvent. CONSTITUTION:The surface of paper is sealed with the coating liquid prepd. by dispersing fine particle of CaCO3, TiO2, etc. in the aq. soln. of, for example, PVA, starch, casein or the like which does not dissolve in solvents for erasing toner image and is soluble in water, in order to remove the unnecessary part, etc. of the toner image formed on the paper. A solvent which swells the toner image or has weak dissolving power (methanol, ethanol, hexane, etc. or the same mixed adequately with toluene, acetone, etc. which are solvents having strong toner dissolving power) is stuck on the part of the paper where the toner image is ought to be erased, and while the image is kept wet with the solvent, the image is rubbed away. The toner image is thus made easily erasable without any ground stain, etc.
