Electrophotographic recorder
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a serial printer type electrophotographic recorder which is small and in which an ordinary paper can be used, by using an electrophotographic process for a serial printer. CONSTITUTION:On a photo-conductive material layer 6 electrically charged by a conductive brush 13 of a printer 2, a latent image is formed by a latent image forming device 8. At the time of development, an electric field is generated for the latent image on a photosensitive drum 7 by a developing bias voltage impressed on a magnetic brush 9a, and positive charges are injected into a magnetic toner through a low-resistance magnetic toner of a mixed one-component developer comprising a low-resistance magnetic toner and a high-resistance magnetic toner, whereby a dense printed image can be obtained. When transferring, a negative voltage is impressed on a conductive rubber blade 3 provided on the back side of a recording paper 1, whereby the magnetic toner is transferred from the surface of the drum 7 onto the recording paper 1 by the function of the high-resistance magnetic toner electrically charged in positive polarity, and the resultant image is fixed over the entire width of the paper by a fixing roller 4. The printer 2 is moved in a direction perpendicular to the feeding direction of the recording paper 1 to scan the paper 1.
