Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a flexible thin battery having easy deformation and sliding and secure electrical contact by installing through holes and concavity and bonding lead terminals. CONSTITUTION:Power generating elements such as an anode active material layer 2 and a cathode active material layer 3 are covered from upper and lower directions with outer jacket materials 6 and 7 such as polyester film laminated with anode and cathode current collectors 4 and 5 in their insides, and peripheries 8 are heat sealed in airtightness. Through holes 9 and 9' and concavity are installed on both sides of the periphery 8 and anode and cathode lead terminals comprising conductive high molecular material such as conductive silicone rubber are inserted and bonded to electrically connect to the current collectors 4 and 5. In this flexible thin battery, lead terminals 10 and 11 are simply connected by bonding the battery even if terminals for power source are not located in the same axis.
