Preparation of hair tonic

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain hair tonic having remedying effect, by mixing the ethanol decomposition liquid of decocted HIJIKI (Hizikia fusiforme, a kind of brown algae) and KUROME (Ecklonia kurome, a kind of brown algae), the ethanol extraction liquid of OBAKU (bark of Phellodendron amurense, a tree belonging to Rutaceae family), peppermint, sesame, ginger and Guinea pepper, glycerol, and sap of gourd. CONSTITUTION:For example, 70g of HIJIKI and 80g of KUROME are decocted with boiling water, and decomposed with ethanol. Separately, 25g of OBAKU, 100g of sesame, 200g of peppermint, 35g of ginger and 30g of Guinea pepper are extracted with 1 liter of ethanol. The objective hair tonic is obtained by mixing 1pt. of the extract with the above decocted liquid, 1pt. of the sap of gourd and 1pt. of glycerol. the hair tonic prevents the drying of scalp and hair by the viscous property of the glycerol, improves the metabolism and blood circulation by the motor centerstimulating effect of ginger and Guinea pepper, promotes the growth of hair by the dark pigment of HIJIKI and KUROME and chlorophyll in the peppermint, and exhibits remedying effect to external wound.
