Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To solve a problem of phenomenon, i.e. lack of toner to be attached to an image, by constituting a carrier with a magnetic metal or oxide having a conductive region protruding from the surface of each carrier particle. CONSTITUTION:Plural conductive protuberances 10 each having a diameter >=2 times that of a toner particle are formed on each carrier core 9, and a conductive coating layer 11 is formed to prevent production of spent toner. Said coating layer 11 has about 10<-7>-10<-5>E-/cm conductivity. A magnetic metal or magnetic oxide is used as the protuberances.
