Controlling method of fuel injection quantity for diesel engine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain smooth acceleration feeling by deciding a fuel injection quantity based on a mollified throttle opening signal when accelerating or decelerating is rapid in the rate of change in throttle opening exceeding a preset value. CONSTITUTION:Depending on whether the throttle opening is positive or negative, judgment is made as to acceleration or deceleration mode. Judgment is made whether the rate of change in throttle opening is exceeding a preset value or not, and if the rate of change in throttle opening is exceeding the preset value, the acceleration signal is mollified. If under the preset value, it is not mollified. The fuel injection quantity is determined based on the throttle opening signal and engine speed signal. By this mechanism, smooth acceleration and deceleration feeling is obtained.
