Heat pipe solar water heater

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To carry out drainage from a water pipe and a hot water discharge pipe, by providing an air breather. CONSTITUTION:A condensing part of a heat pipe 11 whose evaporating part is located on its heat collecting part is located within a hot water tank 2 covered by a heat insulating material 13, a lid 18 having a heat insulating material 17 is provided on the upper part of the hot water tank 2 and a ball tap 20 connecting with a water supply opening 3 inside the hot water tank 2 is provided as well. Then, an air-breather 21 is provided between the water supply opening 3 and the ball tap 21, and a hot water discharge pipe 22 whose air vent pipe 25 is made to open toward the upper part is provided within the hot water tank 2 on a hot water discharge opening 6. Furthermore, an opening of the hot water discharge pipe 22 is made into a valve seat 23, a closing cap 24 is hung down by a wire 9 led outside through a small hole 25 and the closing cap 24 is energized in a closing direction by a spring 26.
