Electric discharge recording sheet
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide the titled sheet which is inexpensive and easy to tear in a predetermined direction, free from lowering of insulation, by a method wherein a plastic sheet material is stretched, and thereafter a vapor-deposited layer having a roughened surface is produced on one side of the sheet material to form a vapor-deposited layer to obtain diffused reflection of rays. CONSTITUTION:After stretching the plastic sheet material 11 with different stretching ratios in longitudinal and transverse directions, one side of the sheet material 11 is minutely roughened by a physcal means such as sand blasting or a chemical means such as etching to produce a matted part 4. Then, a metal such as aluminum or the like is vapor-deposited on the outside surface of the matted part 4 by a vacuum deposition method to produce a vapor-desposited film 13, thereby obtaining the objective sheet 10. When the film 13 is directed upwards and a high voltage is impressed by a discharging electrode in a manner of producing dots in a character form while scanning the electrode in the width direction of the paper, the film 13 is broken, and the character form is developed on the plastic sheet.
