Management system for period of onerous software

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To protect the software, by performing automatic management of software contract without any burden, through the permission of the processing using the onerous software only when it is confirmed that the due data is not yet reached. CONSTITUTION:A contract term data of an onerous software is read out from an onerous software file 2 and an encrypted contract term file 3 of an output tape 1, and the content of the tape 1 is applied to an onerous software storage processing section 13 of a charged software install processing section 6 and a contract term storage processing section 14. The information processed at the processing section 6 is stored in a file of a file storage device 4. When the processing reuest using an onerous software takes place, a contract term limit file is loaded from the device 4 to a contract term input processing section 16 of an onerous software start processing section 8, an encryption interpretation section 17 decodes the file, the result is given to an out of term discrimination section 19, discrimination is done with the output of a date of use reading and processing section 18, and the use of the onerous software can be permitted.
