Controller for pile driver using vibratory hammer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To exactly prevent the damage due to bending of the tip portion of a pile by a method in which when the tension rises beyond a set upper limit value, the pile is brought down by controllably operating a motor-driven winch, but when the tension falls beyond the set lower limit value, the pile is raised by the motor-driven winch. CONSTITUTION:A load T allowing for the allowable stress of a pile 1 is set up, the pile 1 is put on the ground in an extent to which the medium stroke position (b) of a cylinder piston can be assured, and a hammer 2 is actuated to drive the pile into the ground. While watching the variation in loading with the penetration of the pile into the ground, the allowable upper or lower limit at which the pile can be lowered corresponding to the amount of settlement within allowable stroke ranges (d), (e) of the cylinder piston is detected, and then on the basis of the signals, a motor-driven winch is controlled.
