Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the recording efficiency, by providing a ferromagnetic layer having the saturated magnetization larger than a ferromagnetic substrate to a front gap part which is formed between the ferromagnetic substrate and a metallic ferromagnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:A ferromagnetic layer 2 of Sendust, etc. having larger saturated magnetization Ms than a ferrite substrate 1 which serves as a magnetic core of the lower side is formed on the substrate 1 by a sputtering process, etc. The layer 2 is formed into a desired pattern by a chemical etching process, etc. Then the 1st insulated layer 3 of SiO2, etc. is formed by sputtering, etc., and the 1st conductor layer 4 of Cu, Al, etc. is formed on the layer 3 to be formed into a micro pattern of multi-turn. Then the 2nd insulated layer 5 of SiO2, etc. is laminated on the layer 4, and the front gap part of the layer 5 and the connecting part of the layer 4 are etched to form the 2nd conductor layer 6. The 3rd insulated layer 7 is formed on the layer 6, and a part of the layer 7 is eliminated to form a ferromagnetic layer 8.
