Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform heat-sensitive transfer while enhancing the adhesion of an ink layer with a recording paper and transfer properties, by a method wherein thermomelting colored materials coated on a base member in respectively different thicknesses are transferred plural times onto an object member by a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A device for the heat-sensitive transfer is comprised of the thermal heads 17, 18, platens 24, 25, a recording paper 23 fed in the direction B by an external mechanism, a material consisting of a base member 20 and an ink layer 19 and a material consisting of a base member 22 and an ink layer 21 which materials are fed respectively in directions C, D by other external mechanisms, wherein the coated thickness of the ink layer 19 is smaller than that of the ink layer 21. By using said device, the ink 19 is transferred onto the paper 23 by the thermal head 17 to print one-dot lines 26 with spacings equivalent to the width of one-dot on the thermal head in the feed direction E of the paper, and further, the ink 21 is transferred onto the paper by the thermal head 18 to print one-dot lines 27 at said spacings.
