Electrostatic developing device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To made the image density high sufficiently and reduce the irregularity of the image density considerably even in case of a high-speed development, by sticking a pulverulent developer to an electrostatic latent image, which is formed on a recording material such as a recording paper, by the force of static electricity to convert the electrostatic latent image to a visible image. CONSTITUTION:In the constitution consisting of carrying roller 2 and 4, a development guide 3, a sleeve 5, a magnetic roll 6, a hopper 7, and a developer 8, the sleeve 5 is fixed, and the magnetic roll 6 is rotated in the direction of an arrow C (counterclockwise in figure) by a driving device. Since developer particles are scattered onto a recording paper 1 and are attracted to an electrostatic latent image, all of developer particles scattered onto the recording paper 1 are attracted to the electrostatic latent image if the electrostatic latent image exists in the place where they are scattered. Thus, the number of developer particles which can be attracted to the electrostatic latent image is increased considerably per a unit time in comparison with the conventional device, thereby obtaining a sufficient image density even in a high-speed development.
