Washing agent for block surface of lithographic printing block

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the washing agent, whose block surface washing effect is excellent, and which comprises a hydrocarbon series solvent provided with an action that dissolves the solution of specified silicate and ink. CONSTITUTION:A mixed dispersing liquid which includes the following materials: a hydrocarbon solvent provided with the action which dissolves the aqueous solution of silicate or colloid solution shown by a general formula M2O.SiO2[M is an alkali metal, -N(CH3)4, -N(CH2CH3)4, -N(CH2OH)4, -N(C2H4OH)4, and n is 1-3.2]and lithographic printing ink; and a water soluble colloid material, a surface active agent, a wetting agent, and the like, as required. It is desirable that the range of using water soluble alkali metal silicate is 0.4-15wt% of total composition weight. It is described that the hydrocarbon series solvent has the action of dissolving the lithographic printing ink and petroleum fraction having the boiling point of 120-320 deg.C. This washing agent can effectively prevent the ground stains caused by the flaws generated in a hydrophilic layer.
