Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain tap water temperature always equal to the set temperature by controlling the supply water quantity to a water heater on the basis of the difference of each signal from a temperature controller and a tap water temperature detector. CONSTITUTION:The output of a temperature controller 3 controls the combustion quality of a gas burner 1 through a supply heat quantity controller 6 is inputted into a water quantity controller 7. A detecting signal from a tap water detector 4 and a signal from a temperature setter 5 is taken out as a diffential signal in a water quantity controller 7 and when this differential signal shows a fixed value or more though a fixed time passes after the water heater begins to be used on condition that the supplied heat quantity to a gas burner 1 is maximum, a control signal corresponding to the size of said differential signal is sent from a water quantity controller 7 to a supply water quantity controlling device 9, and supply water quantity to the heat exchanger 2 is adjust to maintain the set water temperature of the tap water.
