Method and apparatus for changing diameter of tubular film

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To change the diameter of a tubular film in a wide range without interrupting the molding, by varying vertically the positions of a plurality of disk-like members constituting an inner part stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:The tubular film 2 that has been melted and extruded is blown up with the inner surface thereof in contact with the inner part stabilizer consisting of the plurality of disk-like members 5, and is reeled. In a case of a tubular film 2 with a small diameter, the film 2 is not brought into contact with the disk-like member 5a, whereas in a case of a tubular film 2', the disk-like member 5a is moved to a position 5a', and an additional amount of air is blown into the tubular film.
