Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain smooth car departure by computing car slip ratio at the time of departure through a car speed sensor and a driving wheel speed sensor and by keeping the ratio proper. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 is connected to a rotating shaft 6 of a rear wheel 5, a driving wheel, via an electromagnetic fluid clutch 2 and a transmission 3. The rotating shaft 6 is provided with a wheel speed sensor 7 which detects the rear wheel 5 rotation speed as an electric signal. A clutch pedal at an operator's seat is provided with a pedal position sensor 9, which detects this pedal displacement as an electric signal, and a car body is provided with an acceleration sensor 10, which detects the acceleration as an electric signal. Each detection output from the wheel speed sensor 7, pedal position sensor 9, and acceleration sensor 10 is connected to the input of an operation circuit 11. With these contrivances, even if a driver tries to connect the clutch 2 abruptly, the cluth 2 is automatically controlled to be connected slowly so that the car slip is prevented.
