Misoperation preventing mechanism in manual speed changer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent misoperation by making a four-wheel driving clutch change-over shaft engageable with a speed-change shift shaft stopper arm so that the shift to a very slow speed gear is not allowed except for the four-wheel driving time. CONSTITUTION:A four-wheel driving clutch 20 is operated by a fork 17 and a lever 21, and it works in connection with the shift of a shaft 16. The speed change shifting is carried out by selecting fork shafts, 10-13, by means of a change-over lever 9, while the shift to a very low speed gear is carried out with the shaft 13. The change-over lever 9 is attached to a lever shaft 3, and a stopper arm 24 moves in linkage of them. The stopper arm 24 is engaged with a stopper 25 of a shaft 16, and the change-over lever 9 can be engaged with the very low-speed gear 13 only when the clutch 20 is connected. With these contrivances, the shift to the very low-speed gear, by which the driving torque is large, can be carried out for the four-wheel driving time only.
