Speed governor for internal-combustion engine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To stabilize the control of the rotational speed by providing a liquid chamber filled with a liquid in an electromagnetic plunger of an electrical speed governor of internal-combustion engine, and displacing the plunger within the liquid chamber filled with the liquid. CONSTITUTION:A detection signal from a speed detector 5 of the internal-combustion engine 1 is compared with the output signal of a speed setter 6. The deviation between both signals is introduced from a control circuit 3 to the electromagnetic plunger 2. A throttle lever is driven by means of the plunger 2, and a throttle valve is opened or closed to maintain the engine speed at a predetermined value. When the liquid chamber is provided within the electromagnetic plunger 2 and the plunger 2 is displaced within the liquid chamber, the plunger can be displaced slowly, so that the stable control of the speed of the internal- combustion engine can be carried out by use of the electromagnetic plunger 2.
