Method of controlling power generating installation using recovered gas

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to operate one power generator by two sets of expansion turbines using different recovered gases by comparing respective output signals from a lump function generator, and a generator output pressure adjustor, and controlling the governor by the selected signal. CONSTITUTION:Upon starting the turbine, when a starting signal relay IX is closed and the output of a lump function generator FX is increased, an actuator FCV is opened, and the rotational speed increases. When the rotational speed exceeds the set value of a rotational speed adjustor SC, the movement of the FCV is changed over from the output of the FX to the output of the SC at a point in time where the output of the SC becomes smaller than the output of the lump function generator FX. After synchronously turned ON, proportion integration operations are carried out in accordance with the frequency deviation. Then when the FCV is opened, and the output of a pressure adjustor PIC for the turbine becomes less than a predetermined value, the FCV is shifted to the control due to the PIC. When the installation is shifted from parallel driving to the independent driving, the deviation is inverted, and FCV is shifted to the speed control. By these procedures, one power generator can be operated by two expansion turbines by the recovered gas from the different processes.
