Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To speed up response by making the inertial moment of an armature by using a system in which the rear end of the latter half portion as the spring of the armature is coupled with a holder in a rocking manner and turned at the boundary as a supporting point between the spring and the rigid portion. CONSTITUTION:The armature 2 of a wire-dot printer is made up of a rigid portion 2c of the former half froma pointed tip fitted with a print wire 1 and a plate spring portion 2a of the rear half, and its rear end is provided with a coupling hole 2b for positioning the armature 2. The boundary between spring portion 2a of the armature 2 and the rigid portion 2c is contacted with the core 5a of a magnet, and the armature 2 is turned at the contact point as a supporting point. The coupling hole 2b in the rear end of the armature 2 is slightly moved in rocking manner along the coupling lever 4b of the armature holder 4, and the suction face of the armature 2 is facially contacted with the core 5a.
