Automatic answering telephone set

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain an automatic answering telephone set with high convenience, by using a voice response device having a plurality of storage areas and a storage area selecting device, and operating the plurality of storage areas arbitrarily through telephone lines. CONSTITUTION:The storage area selecting device 9 is constituted with e.g., a PB signal receiver. A mixing signal combining each one frequency out of 4 low frequencies group and 4 high frequencies group is obtained from a telephone set using a push phone system by the selection of the push phone. The frequencies are set to a region hardly malfunctioned with normal voice signals. Then, even if the PB receiver is connected to a conventional telephone line at all times, no malfunction due to the voice signal is caused. When the device 9 is constituted with the PB receiver, and a PB signal is transmitted to a telephone line 1, the signal is detected at the PB receiver and the signal is given to the voice response device 5, allowing to select one of the storage areas in the device 5.
