Manufacture for preform for heat resistant polyester bottle use
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide heat resistance to a bottle, by a method wherein, in case a polyethylene terephalate pipe or a pipe made of a copolymer polyester comprising mainly polyethylene terephthalate is blow-molded into a bottle, a part, which is not oriented, is thermally treated to crystalize it. CONSTITUTION:Polyethylene terephthalate or a copolymer polyester mainly consisting thereof is fused and extruded, and one end of a clear pipe 3, obtained by cooling it rapidly after vacuum-molding, is preheated. After a bottom part 10 is molded by pressure-sealing it in a mold, the pipe 3, whose bottom is sealed, is preheated by a preheater 1, it is further processed so that a cap can be attached by means of an outer mold 4 and an inner mold 7 to mold a preform 9. When a molding takes place, a heating part 5 for the outer mold, simultaneously, is heated at 90-200 deg.C for 5-200sec to form the preform 9 whose neck part 11 is mainly crystallized. This enables the production of a heat resistant bottle.
