Automatic compensation system for joint position in facsimile transmitter
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To automatically compensate the shift of joint of CCD, by detecting the shift toward subscanning. CONSTITUTION:A correction marker 5 is formed at a duplicated photo detection area a little before a part where an original 7 on an original loading stand 8 is located, and two CCDs 1 and 2 detect light by sharing specified areas 13 and 14 of the stand 8 including the duplicated photo detection area 15. When scanning is made at the same time for the two CCDs 1 and 2 located like this toward the arrow 10, a correction marker signal is outputted to a marker detection section connected to the respective photo detection elements. The difference of detection of the correction marker signals, that is, a shift 17 toward the subscanning is detected, and the CCD2 is slided for compensation toward the subscanning shown in the arrow 11 by the share of the shift 17 toward the subscanning with a CCD slide motor 9 based on this detection signal.
