Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To supply optimum welding current and voltage for a welding condition by providing an automatic welding robot with parameter that commands welding current and voltage with special instruction word for controlling and transmitting command from the strage device to the welding power supply. CONSTITUTION: A program of command values of welding current and voltage is prepared using instruction word for controlling a welding robot and this is inputted to a computer 10 as command input data. The computer 10 converts the input data to a specified value to prepare parameter and add this to a latch circuit 11 as data Dp and latches, and then outputs this as an addressing signal of a strage device 12. Data corresponding to each welding current and voltage are stored in the strage device 12 and the contents of address are added to digital-analog converter 13 as command data Dc for welding current and voltage. Then an analog signal Ec is outputted as a command signal for welding current and voltage, and inputted to a welding power supply 15 after amplified with an amplifier 14, and proper welding current and voltage are supplied to the robot.
