Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent stoppage where incapable of self-starting by forming a concave section at a proper position of an inner diametrical surface of a stator core magnetically connecting to a permanent magnet of a rotor through an air gap. CONSTITUTION:When currents do not flow through winding conductors 8 under a condition that a power supply is at OFF, the force of magnetic attraction balances and rests where a pole N of the permanent magnet 13 of the rotor parts from a positional detecting element 18 by angle theta. For determine the rest position, a proper angle alpha is formed contacting with the angle theta, and the concave sections 19 are shaped to the inner diametrical surface of the stator core 7 within the ranges of appropriate angles beta from the angle. Accordingly, the fan can be self-started positively.
