Seat position setting process of vehicle

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To simplify movement of a seat to a set position by storing a movement distance from a standard position determined voluntarily in a memory, reading out the data stored in the memory, and driving the seat to the set position. CONSTITUTION: A seat 1 is movable on a floor 2 along an arrow 6 and a backrest prtion 4 is rotatable around an axis 8. The backrest portion 4 and a seat portion 3 are rotatable wholly around the axis 8 keeping a fixed relative angle θ between both the portions. The various motions mentioned above are carried out by the motors 10W12 through an operative apparatus 16. In this case, the operative apparatus 16 has a memory 25 for fixing a standard position of the seat 1 voluntarily and relatively within the movement range along the various axes and storing the standard position. Operating one of store keys 21W24 on an operative board 17, the data stored is read out and motors 10W12 are controlled to move the seat 1 to its set position. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
