Recovery of cold heat
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To efficiently recover cold heat by using a process fluid comprising a combination of a specified material to be absorbed and absorbent in an absorption refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A process fluid is prepared by combining a material to be absorbed consisting of a halogenated hydrocarbon having at least one hydrogen atom such as chloroform or dichloromethane with an absorbent consisting of a ketone, ester or sulfon compd. such as methylheptenone, methyl benzonate or 3-methylsulforane in such a proportion as to satisfy relationship of standard b.p. of the material to be absorbed +50°C< standard b.p. of the absorbent. It is pref. to use as an absorption refrigerator one which is capable of effecting absorption of the material to be absorbed by the absorbent and separation of the material to be absorbed from the mixt. of the both by a continuously recyling process.
