Construction method for sheathing structure

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate the construction of a strong sheathing structure, by a method wherein, in case, after a reinforcing material is spread over a ground, soil and sand covers thereover and a sheathing structure is built through the repetition of a compaction work, while a composite reinforcing material, consisting of a rodform stretching member and a resistance body, is used as a reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION: A composite reinforcing material A, for use with a sheathing structure, consisting of a stretching member 1, which is formed of a plurality of metal or plastic rodform objects being arranged in parallel and in a plane, and a plurality of resistance bodies 20 being placed on the stretch members 1 and in a direction crossing the members 1. In case a sheathing structure is built using the composite material A, a plurality of the composite materials A are first placed on a ground B and in a horizontal direction at given intervals. Soil and sand are then scarttered over the composite materials A, and is compacted by a roller or other means to form a soil bed 4. The same process is prepared to build a banking B. Walls 5 are installed at the side of the banking B, and are coupled to the forward ends of the composite reinforcing materials A to complete a sheathing structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
