Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism and to make easy for the replacement of components in console, by providing a white balance switching means to an optical system and controlling the removal of chroma temperature filter through this switching. CONSTITUTION:A lens system of a video camera consists of a lens food 11, focus ring 12, protective ring 13, zoom ring 14, mirror cylinder main body 15 and master lens fitting mirror cylinder, and a white balance switching ring 20 is provided between the mirror cylinder 16 of the mirror cylinder main body 15 and a mirror cylinder 17 with smaller diameter. A projection 21 is formed at a part of external circumference in the ring 20 and knurling is engraved on the surface for ease of turning. A recess 22 is formed at the inner circumference of the ring 20 and a plate spring 23 is fitted to switch the removal of chroma temperature filter in interlocking with the turning of the ring 20. A flange 30 is provided with a notch 31 and a contact insertion recess 24 and a contact device providing contact corresponding to 4 pieces of switching modes of white balance, allowing to control the removal of the filter on the lens hole 33 according to conditions.
