Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To detect the arriving direction of each of plural disturbing waves, by monitoring the output fed from a direction indicator while varying the direction of zero-point of a main antenna. CONSTITUTION:A direction finders contains a main antenna 10 having a zero-point in the directivity, plural units of auxiliary antenna 11 having the omni-directivity, and a direction varying device 21 that varies the zero-point direction of the antenna 10. Then a correlation loop 20 comprising a correlating device 16 which carries out a multiplication of the signal received the complex conjugate of the signals on a main channel 14 and an auxiliary channel 15, an amplifier 17, and integrator 18, a multiplier 19 and a differential circuit 13 is provided to each antenna 11. the output signal of the circuit 13, i.e., the signal level on the channel 14 is compared with a prescribed level through a comparator 2. Then a binary signal is delivered by the difference between these two levels. This binary signal is supplied to a direction indicating circuit 22 to detect the arriving direction of a disturbing wave. In such constitution, the arriving direction is detected for plural disturbing waves.
