Preparation of polyamide type resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition useful as an engineering plastic having improved impact strength and releasability, obtained by blending a polyamide resin composition containing a modified ethylene copolymer with a bisamide compound. CONSTITUTION: 99W40pts.wt. Polyamide resin is blended at 150W300°C for 0.5W 15min in molten state with 1W60pts.wt. modified ethylene copolymer (preferably polymer having ≥75% crystallinity) obtained by grafting 0.05W1.5wt% α,β- unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative onto a copolymer of ethylene and ≥3C α-olefin, to give 100pts.wt. resin composition, which is blended with 0.005W 5pts.wt. more preferably 0.03W0.3pts.wt. bisamide compound shown by the formula I or II (R 1 is bifunctional hydrocarbon; R 2 and R 3 are monofunctional hydrocarbon; R 4 and R 5 are H or monofunctional hydrocarbon) in dry or molten state.
