Nonaudio processing system for digital audio

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make effective use of a relay transmission line without delivering nonaudio packet, by giving nonaudio block length display information to a head audio packet produced next, and writing in the nonaudio time to a fixed delay buffer at incoming side. CONSTITUTION:An analog signal on an input circuit 170 is digitized and stored to a transmiss-on side buffer circuit 120, and transmission request is made to a packet multiplex section 130 when the storage reaches a given data number and transmitted to a data communication line 190. On the other hand, a transmission side buffer circuit 120 detects the time interval from the detection of nonaudio to the next audio detection, and transmits it to the head display and the nonaudio block length display at the transmission of the 1st block transmission of audio. The received digital audio packet is inputted to the reception side buffer circuit 150 to provide buffer display and after inserting the nonausio time corresponding to the nonaudio block length display information is inserted, it is reproduced into an analog signal and transmitted to an output circuit 180.
