Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain optimum color picture, by storing a standard color signal to a memory, and reproducing a standard color pattern through the delivery of color inks on paper from ink jets. CONSTITUTION:Color picture signals 2', 3', 4' are produced by using R, G, B signal generating photoelectric converters 2, 3, 4 on a color picture original 1. A standard color pattern is read in at a picture scanner in a memory 11 to store standard color video signals R0, B0, G0. In this case, a standard color signal is stored in the memory 11, color ink is delivered from ink jets, allowing to reproduce the standard color pattern on a patter 16. The reproduced picture of the standard color pattern is scanned with a color picture scanner again, and the R, G, B signals generated and the R0, G0, B0 signals stored in the memory 11 are operated at an operation circuit 12 and the result is displayed 13-15. Correct video signals are produced by a correction circuit of the operating circuit.
