Fuel injection device for internal combustion engine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To enhance amomizing of fuel by having a fuel injection valve at the location off the center of an intake port and pointed at the heating inner wall. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection valve 10 is provided on an intake manifold 3 adjacent to an intake port 5 of a cylinderhead 4, the center line 18 of an injection port 18 of said injection valve 10 being arranged to be off the vertical center line 16 of the intake port 5 and pointed at a heater part 8 formed in the cylinderhead 4 thereby creating a gyrating flow to the fuel injection and an atomizing effect which is further enhanced by the heating by the heater part 8.
