Switching regulator

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To achieve stabilization by preventing oscillations without lowering an open loop gain, by connecting a phase compensating circuit in parallel to the 1st LPF in a regulator which has the phase compensating circuit in its feedback control system. CONSTITUTION:In parallel to the 1st LPF2 connected to a rectifying circuit 8 at the secondary side of a transformer T1 where a switching transistor (TR) as an electric switching element generating a pulsating voltage is connected, a phase compensating circuit 12 consisting of the 2nd LPF13 less in phase lag than the 1st LPF2 and a capacitor C7 connecting its filter 13 and an error amplifier 3 is connected to make a feedback system, such as the error amplifier 3, lead greatly in phase. Thus, the occurrence of ringing is prevented without lowering an open loop gain.
