Sintered hard alloy with superior heat and wear resistances
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a sintered hard alloy with superior heat and wear resistances by dispersing a specified percentage of ≥1 kinds among Ti carbide, Ti carbonitride and Ti nitride and Y nitride and/or Al nitride in tungsten. CONSTITUTION: An alloy consisting of 10W60wt% ≥1 kinds among Ti carbide, Ti carbonitride and Ti nitride as a dispersion phase forming component, 1W10wt% Y nitride and/or Al nitride as a dispersion phase forming component, and the balance tungsten as a binding phase forming component with inevitable impurities is prepared. To the alloy may be added 0.1W12wt% of 1 or ≥2 kinds of compounds selected from carbides, nitrides and carbonitrides of Zr, Hf, V, Nb and Ta and carbides of Cr, Mo and W. The blended composition is molded into a green compact, and by sintering the compact at a prescribed temp. in a vacuum, the desired hard alloy is obtd. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
