Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make succeeding confirmation and correction possible and distinguish recognized character and character which is not recognized, from each other, by copying one-page components of form, which is not recognized, together with the identification code to obtain a duplicate of the original. CONSTITUTION: A data processing device 5 adds an identification number to one- page components of form and stores them in a storage device 6 and reads out them to recognize characters. If data connot be recognized, the device 5 stores original data in the storage device 6 as it is. When data can be recognized, the recognition result is stored as standard data in the storage device 6. Data which cannot be recognized of the form is sent together with the identification code to a facsimile 4 as it is, and recognized characters are sent as standard patterns to the facsimile 4, and they are hard-copied. The operator designates the form with the identification code of the copied form from a keyboard 9 to display the form and processes characters which are not recognized. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
