Accommodating container for discoid information medium

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To hold a discoid recording medium without any play by fixing it in a accommodating container in contact with its internal wall. CONSTITUTION:To the upper half body 5 of a accommodating container 4, a magnet 6 is fitted corresponding to a magnetic plate 3 so that a discoid recording medium 1 is fixed. When this container 4 is attached to a reproducing device, an opening and closing door 8 is opened by sliding in a sliding groove. A driving motor 14 moves up and the magnet 16 attracts the discoid recording medium 1. The driving motor 14 rotates the discoid recording medium 1 and reproduction is carried out.
