Monitoring system for process controller

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily monitor details of modules and coupling state of modules, by displaying the entire data base of one control function module and information of each connection of a plurality of modules on one screen. CONSTITUTION:A process controller 11 is provided with a data base of a control function module realized with the software, and this consists of three elements such as a format information section, a connection information section and a parameter section. Data from the device 11 are collected at a centralized monitor controller 17, operated at an operation processing section 18, returned to the device 11 and displayed on a CRT19. The screen of the CRT19 is split into blocks B1-B4, and the blocks are individually designated with the operation of a keyboard 21, and each element of the control function modules as the format information section, the connection information section and the parameter section is displayed to the blocks B1-B3. Or, the format information section and the connection information section of a module A01 are displayed to the blocks B1 and B2 and the format information section and the connection information section of a module A02 are displayed to the blocks B3 and B4.
