Printing method of dot printer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform the printing which can be readily recognized as a whole by reducing the amount of paper feeding for mixed sentences, performing the printing wherein a listing part and a character printer part are balanced and the printed matters can be readily seen, and continuously printing the longitudinal ruled lines of the list. CONSTITUTION:Current conduction is controlled for each dot so that the characters are printed by a printing head 1 by using only X dots of all the dot numbers Z. In order to print the mixed sentence, the list is printed with a pitch g1 being provided between the characters. The control is performed so that (X+Y)/ 2 dots are fed when a flag, by which the dot number switching of the paper is judged and which is built in the printer, is set; and (X+Y) dots are fed when the flag is not set. The first printing pattern of the row is a listing dot pattern. If it is the pattern including the longitudinal ruled lines, the flag is set.
