Cooker with card reader

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To reduce the number of cooking cards and improve usability by a method wherein each cooking card is provided with plural magnetic tapes in which different cooking programs are preset, and the programs can be used selectively. CONSTITUTION: A cooking card 11 is provided with plural magnetic tapes 12 in which different cooking programs are preset, the tapes 12 being located symmetrically with respect to the reading direction 13, 14. With such cooking card inserted into a card reader 16 of a cooker, the magnetic tape 12 corresponding to the magnetic head 17 is read, and the cooking is conducted according to the program in the thus read magnetic tape 12. Accordingly, it is unnecessitated to use a plurality of cards, for example, in cases where different amounts of dishes are made from the same food.
